SPUD enthusiasts were treated to a whole day of a-peeling activities as Mold Potato Day was celebrated in the town.
Held at the Daniel Owen Centre on Earl Road, the day showcased all the best about potatoes, with other seeds, plants, herbs and fruit and veg up for grabs.
The event is organised by Brighter Blooms of Preston and FlintShare, a vegetable growing community based at three sites - Northop, Cilcain and Hawarden in Flintshire.
More than 80 varieties of seed potatoes, onion and shallot sets, fruit trees and bushes, herbs, and seeds were on display, and the day holds a special place in the calendar with spring just around the corner.
Hannah Blythyn, MS for Delyn, went along to the event and hailed its success.
She said: "Lovely to once again have the opportunity to go along to the magnificent Mold Potato Day at the Daniel Owen Centre today.
"It was great to see the event continuing to be well attended, with over 80 varieties of seed potatoes, plus onion sets, garlic, vegetable seeds and plants, herbs, soft fruit and fruit trees for sale.
"Thanks to FlintShare, Brighter Blooms and all the volunteers for making it happen again this year."
