The Member of the Senedd for Delyn, Hannah Blythyn has once again teamed up with Flint-based business the Roberts Group to deliver ‘Christmas Cheer’ boxes to families across Flintshire. This is the fourth year running the Delyn MS has organised the initiative and 200 boxes containing classic Christmas treats such as chocolate, mince pies, biscuits, crisps and much more have been distributed through local schools and community organisations.

Hannah Blythyn MS said:

“I am pleased to have once again been able to organise the distribution of Christmas Cheer boxes to around 200 families in communities across the constituency and I hope that they play a small part in brightening up the festive period.

 

This wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of the Roberts Group who donated supplies, alongside packing and delivering and I am happy that we have been able to keep up the tradition of distributing boxes full of treats to help bring some Christmas Cheer at what can be a challenging time of year. I’d also like to thank Smurfit Westrock in Mold for suppling the boxes again this year.”

Schools from across the area have helped distribute hampers to families and boxes have also been shared out through a range of community centres and organisations, from Walk and Talk in Ffynnongroyw to The Table (Holywell and Flint), Flint Town Hall, the River Dee Community Centre and Parkfields Community Centre in Mold.
