Hannah Blythyn MS has praised the efforts of the Welsh Government and other partners in working together to respond to the immediate impact of the pandemic and planning for the future.
Ms Blythyn attended a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on North Wales, chaired by the Minister for Economy, Transport and North Wales, which also includes the Leaders of the six local Councils in the region.
The Committee discussed how they could continue to work together to deliver sustainable recovery for the region, as well as responding to the challenges that coronavirus and the end of the EU transition period, continue to pose on the region.
Ken Skates MS said:
“Without doubt the situation is grave with manufacturing particularly affected in the North East and the tourism industry more to the West. At the Welsh Government we will continue to do all we can to support businesses at this very difficult time.”
Delyn MS, Hannah Blythyn, added:
“It is great to see a continued focus on our corner of the country and a strong partnership approach being taken, to help deliver a green recovery”
