As part of Big Energy Saving Week, Hannah Blythyn, Assembly Member for Delyn, will hold a drop-in advice clinic to help constituents save money on their energy bills.
Big Energy Saving Week (January 21-27) is an annual campaign coordinated by Citizens Advice in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Groundwork North Wales is partnering with Citizens Advice and other organisations to put on events across the UK throughout Big Energy Saving Week to encourage local residents to find out how to access the most affordable supplier or tariff and making homes more energy efficient.
On Friday January 25, from 1pm to 2pm, residents in Delyn can meet with Groundwork North Wales representatives at Hannah Blythyn’s constituency office on Church Street, Flint, to discuss how consumers can save money and energy if they check, switch and save.
Hannah Blythyn AM said: “January is the time of year when people are more likely to be thinking about their energy bills due to the cold weather and ensuring their homes stay warm through winter.
“Ensuring you are on the right tariff is important and I’d encourage anyone who is considering switching to visit my office on January 25 to speak to advisors on the best way to be more energy efficient and secure the best value for money.”
